Looking back over my student learning goals on social media manifesto, I can say that I have learnt and understood a great deal more than I did when I first began this course about social media for both personal and business purposes. Despite the fact that I have not completed all I set out to do in my student learning manifesto, I have learnt enough to be of use in my present and future careers. For example, I am confident in my ability to set up a social media account to promote and accomplish both personal and professional business goals. I've gained a better understanding of social media empowerment as well as the differing perspectives on the benefits and drawbacks of using social media.
Through collaborations and reaching consensus with my course mates, I've been able to establish a somewhat strong learning network. I have gotten knowledge from my teammates, and I feel that they have gained knowledge from my knowledge and contributions as well. I believe it is too soon to assess the strength of the relationship we have built as a team, although we communicate often.
I feel that our group work has aided in the development of student friendships, and that studying as a group has helped to my attaining a more positive learning experience. My learning has been enriched by the knowledge of my group members.

Reflection on group post learning
We were a group of three students. Our task was to reflect on one of the articles that had been provided for discussion and to make PowerPoint presentations on the subject: Our topic was “In a major Twitter blunder, Elon Musk accidentally broadcasted his personal mobile number to his 16 million followers." We chose this topic because Elon Musk is a successful global business icon, and because we are business students ourselves, we believe it will be of greater benefit to us as business students. We created a WhatsApp group for the purpose of communicating with one another and exchanging files and other information. Our first meeting was held in the Stockwell Library, where we discussed how we were going to achieve our group task. Another member and I proposed that we each take a section to focus on, but the third member disagreed, explaining that we will not be able to fully understand the whole article unless each member researches the whole article and present their findings to the group during our discussion. We thought the idea was reasonable, and we all agreed that everyone should research the article and submit their results to our individual email addresses. The reason for this is so that we may all profit from the fact that we understand every component of the subject. All members of the group agreed, and everyone conducted their own research on the article and forwarded their findings. Each person's conclusions were somewhat different from the others since each included information about the article that the other person had not discovered. Some of us were more specific than others in our descriptions. I went into great length in my work, but one group member went into even more detail than I did, and I gained useful information from the efforts of the other group member as well. This is in accordance with Burke (2011), which is one of the advantages of students working in teams. Finally, we assigned one of us the task of putting the points together and posting them on the forum on our behalf.
In the second group work activity, we were given the task of researching what was available on the internet, namely a company that had been founded using social media and that we were interested in. A PowerPoint presentation on this work had to be created and then posted to the forum.
We looked on the internet for a company that had begun as an individual venture using social media and came upon Vinyl Me, Please, which had its roots in a passion for music. Because of this group activity, I have gained an understanding of how a company may be launched on social media based on something that one enjoys or is passionate about. The contributions of the other members of the group have helped me broaden my understanding. I'm now investigating how I might convert my passion for creativity into a profitable business venture via the use of social media.
According to Burke, (2011), many students are reluctant to work in a group work, but on the other hand, group work is beneficial to both students and their tutors. Students benefit from one other's knowledge and experience via group work, which helps them improve their grades and feel more contented with their academic work. Overall, our group communicated well, and we were able to accomplish our goals in the end as a result of excellent communication and consensus, as well as collaborative efforts. Overall, the atmosphere was calm, and the group members were quite cooperative.
